ABOUT LIVING PROOF EXHIBIT
Living Proof Exhibit provides the therapeutic benefits of the arts to those impacted by cancer. This includes patients, survivors, families and caregivers. We provide monthly Creative Sessions, exhibitions of art created by cancer survivors as a annual major exhibition and permanent rotating exhibitions at the cancer centers, art-to-go projects for patients and their families, as well as utilizing Beam Pro technology to share the exhibitions at the Figge Art Museum with patients receiving treatment at the cancer centers.
Each year, Living Proof Exhibit welcomes anyone impacted by cancer of any artistic skill level to submit artwork for the annual exhibit. The exhibit will be held in the Quad Cities during even years (2016, 2018), and will travel to other cities during odd years (2017, 2019). View our information page, call for entry and application, and past exhibit using the buttons below.
Additionally, Living Proof Exhibit artists are now featured throughout the Cancer Center at UnityPoint - Health Trinity. Artwork is rotated out every four months. View artwork from this ongoing exhibit using the button below.
Each month, Living Proof Exhibit hosts Creative Sessions with support from our community partners. These sessions are held at a variety of locations in the Quad Cites and Muscatine.
Living Proof Exhibit will also occassionally host and participate in special events throughout the year. These events include fundraisers and booths at lifestyle fairs and events. You can find information about these events on our Facebook page, or under our events tab. View upcoming events using the button below.
Living Proof Exhibit is an organization dedicated to spreading the therapeutic benefits of the arts to everyone, and that means including programs that aren't just exhibits and creative sessions.
