

Throwing my first clay pot at the Figge
Patrick Swayze did NOT appear behind me to make my first time at a potter's wheel a romantic experience (like in the movie GHOST). Instead, I gleefully giggled as my clay creation came alive. The wheel moved a lot faster than expected. "Clay water" flew all over my clothes. My hopes of a picture perfect pot dissolved but I didn't care. Doodle who? Me! That's who! I can doodle and you can too! Even my 85 year old mother who is blind in one eye and can barely hold a pen is covering her scratch pads with doodled art.
