Full Circle Project
Ever taken something painful and turned it into something soothing?
Date: Saturday, April 8, 2017
Time: 9:30am – 4pm
Place: Figge Art Museum - 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport, IA
Bring a box lunch and join us April 8 at the Figge Art Museum for Full Circle Project.
Participants will:
-
Cut up those unappealing hospital gowns,
-
Turn those gowns into pulp,
-
Change the pulp into paper,
-
Bind the paper into books, and
-
Write in books so they become cherished journals.
This FREE class will be led by artist Dawn Wohlford – Metallo, Kathryn Anderson, St Ambrose University, and Ryan Collins, MidWest Writing Center.
